A gentle reminder warms people’s hearts.In recent years,as part of the ongoing efforts to deepen the reform to“streamline administration and delegate power,improve regulation,and upgrade services and enhance the business environment,”the Shuangliu District in Chengdu has embarked on a transformative journey with its"License and Permit Processing Reminder Service."This innovative approach aims to redefine governmental service models by addressing three crucial aspects:time reminder,scope reminder,and effectiveness reminder.By proactively crafting diverse reminder service scenarios,the district has significantly facilitated the lives of both the general public and businesses,contributing to the creation of a service-oriented government that resonates with the satisfaction of the people.
Recently,Mr.Hong Qijiang,the General Manager of Sichuan Xiuzheng Tang Bote Pharmaceutical Chain Co.,Ltd.,arrived punctually at the district's government service hall to renew the company's business license.Just two days prior,he received a heartwarming text message on his phone from the Approval Bureau,reminding him that the pharmacy license was about to expire.As the first recipient of such a message among business entities,Mr.Hong was both surprised and delighted,promptly making his way to the government service hall to complete the necessary procedures.
"Given our usual busy schedule,it's hard to remember these things.In any case,I think this is a benevolent initiative,and I'm very grateful for the Administrative Approval Bureau's Approach!"remarked Mr.Hong.
Though the message is concise,it manages to deliver precise and necessary reminders to citizens amidst their hectic lives,acting like a thoughtful housekeeper.It serves as a memorandum from the government to those in need.To ensure no reminders are overlooked,Shuangliu District has meticulously organized a list of 39 major items and 118 sub-items under the"License Expiry Reminder"service category,covering various sectors such as catering,healthcare,transportation,education,and elderly care.Based on this,SMS reminders are sent at three crucial intervals:3-6 months,20 days,and 10 days before the statutory expiration of licenses.Multiple reminders are also sent to individuals or businesses who have not completed the license renewal process seven days before expiry.
Moreover,Shuangliu has distributed over 10,000"Warm Reminder Service Cards,"outlining seven common issues in handling five categories of administrative permit matters.Targeting citizen needs,the district has selected 100 high-frequency service items from the"Cross-Border One-Stop"initiative for reminder services,offering businesses and citizens free assistance,document pre-review,free mailing services,and online processing guidance.
Besides,in 2023,the Shuangliu District Administrative Approval Bureau optimized and upgraded the"1+N+3"license joint approval service model,focusing on"reminder services"and"front-end guidance."This not only saves time in processing licenses but also achieves the goal of"entering only one door and running at most once."In addition,"reminder services"are integrated with the town(street)online"self-service processing."Businesses and citizens can use self-service government service machines to carry out certain administrative services,and intelligent document exchange cabinets provide further convenience for citizens.
